Ingredients

  • 1 tsp fennel seed, toasted and ground
  • 1 tsp sichuan peppercorns, toasted and ground
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ground cloves
  • 1 tsp ground star anise
To prepare the blend, in small bowl, mix all spices thoroughly. Store in a sealed container.

    Hi Paula, My favorite is duck, but it works well with chicken too, depending on what you are serving it with. Fun fact, I like to use it in place of plain cinnamon for cinnamon-sugar toast. Just makes a childhood favorite feel much more grown-up!
